Acceptable-Use Policy

Do not use Herschel to

• break the law, facilitate violence or abuse, exploit a child, harass another person, or evade legitimate safety controls;
• upload malware, probe or disrupt systems, obtain unauthorized access, share credentials, automate abusive traffic, or bypass quotas and generation controls;
• infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or data-protection rights;
• make consequential medical, legal, financial, employment, admissions, or safety decisions without qualified human review;
• misrepresent generated material as verified fact, accredited instruction, or another person’s original work.

Enforcement and reporting

The operator may stop a request, remove material, suspend an account, or preserve limited evidence when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse or protect the service.
